The Fellowship Programme
|
|
At the heart of the ecbi is an Oxford-based Fellowship Programme for climate negotiators
and other stakeholders directly involved in the UNFCCC process from the participating developing countries. Its primary
purpose is to build trust and exchange procedural and institutional knowledge both among the Fellows ('South-South
trust-building'), and between them and their European colleagues ('North-South trust-building').

that are part of its work schedule. Please refer back to this page for information as the project runs.

| Bangkok Climate Sessions 2009 -
The negotiations are scheduled to conclude at the fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) in December. From 28 September to 9 October 2009, the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) held a formal consultation session in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of ongoing negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The negotiations are scheduled to conclude at the fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in December 2009.
