The Fellowship Programme
|
|
|
At the heart of the ecbi is an Oxford-based Fellowship Programme for climate negotiators
and other stakeholders directly involved in the UNFCCC process from the participating developing countries. Its primary
purpose is to build trust and exchange procedural and institutional knowledge both among the Fellows ('South-South
trust-building'), and between them and their European colleagues ('North-South trust-building').

To maintain the momentum of these trust-building activities, the Fellowship Programme also organises an annual one-day Bonn Seminar during the
intersessional Subsidiary Bodies meetings in Bonn/Germany.

ecbi will be holding a series of public and network-only events, as well as the workshops and seminars
that are part of its work schedule. Please refer back to this page for information as the project runs.

Bonn Seminar 2010 -
• Venue: La Redute
On the 7th June 2010, the ecbi Fellowship Programme held the fifth Bonn Seminar gathering together 25 delegates, during the intersessional meeting of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies in Bonn, Germany to maintaining and strengthening the momentum of the trust-building activities of the Oxford Fellowships – particularly the North-South component.
