The ecbi Finance Circle

ecbi Finance Circle Home Page

Overview

Membership of the ecbi Finance Circle is open to government experts on financial architecture and governance of all delegations to the UNFCCC.

The ecbi Circle of Experts on Climate Finance and Architecture (ecbi Finance Circle) is an initiative of the European Capacity Building Initiative to provide a platform for informal in-depth discussions among key experts on the technical aspects of the issues discussed in the AWG-LCA negotiations on financial architecture and governance.

The sole aim of the ecbi Finance Circle is an enhanced understanding of the issues involved in financial architecture and governance - in the hope that this would facilitate the UNFCCC finance negotiations.

Much of this content is available only to Finance Circle members, but there is also a Documents Library for publicly available materials.

Current Members

As at December 2011, the Finance Circle consists of a network of eighty-one members, with support from within ecbi.
